Composite Bonding
Our dental office offers restorations using dental bonding to quickly correct numerous problems, including minor chips, cracks, tooth discoloration, misshapen teeth, and small gaps between your teeth. Dental bonding requires little-to-no reduction of your tooth, is relatively inexpensive, and can often be performed in just one visit to our office. We use premium bonding materials, so the results blend indiscernibly with your natural teeth and last for years.
The Dental Bonding Procedure
The dental bonding process is performed at our dental office. First, a local anesthetic is applied to keep you comfortable throughout the procedure, and a mild etching solution is added to permit the bonding material to adhere to your tooth. Dr. Shlafer then applies the tooth-colored ceramic bonding material and cures it with a high-intensity light. Finally, he shapes and smooths the bonded material. The final result looks remarkably natural.
