Reclaim Your Smile with Dr. Shlafer
Convenient, affordable, and removable, dentures have been a popular tooth replacement for many years. We customize all of our dentures to match the size, shape, and shade of your natural teeth, ensuring your restoration will blend in perfectly with your smile.
We offer both full and partial dentures at our practice to restore any number of missing teeth. Keep reading to explore your options.
The design for Turbyfill dentures was created by Dr. Jack Turbyfill, a renowned prosthodontist. These dentures are specifically created to accommodate the loss of bone and gum tissue, increasing your comfort and enhancing your facial appearance.
In addition, the replacement teeth are all made from porcelain for a more attractive and durable restoration.
If you want unmatched stability and protection for your oral health, we can anchor your partial or full denture with multiple dental implants. Implant-supported dentures are never removed, making them easier to clean. They also restore full chewing function and stimulate your jawbone to protect it from bone loss.
If you still have some of your natural teeth remaining, Dr. Shlafer will customize a partial denture just for you and determine how many implants are necessary to keep it stable. For full-arch restorations, we feature two highly convenient options, depending on your smile goals.
The first option is All-on-4, which involves Dr. Shlafer placing a full denture and securing it with just four implants. This procedure is designed to maximize your available bone tissue and eliminate the need for bone grafting. You’ll receive a full set of temporary teeth in just one appointment, then return to our office for your permanent denture after you’ve healed.
Your second option is Teeth-in-a-Day, also known as immediate load implants. This is our fastest treatment option, providing you with a set of beautiful, permanent teeth in just one visit. Since this procedure skips the healing process after surgery, we may use up to six implants to secure your denture, meaning you’ll need plenty of bone tissue. However, once you leave our office, you can enjoy all the benefits of a healthy and beautiful smile.
